BJP State President Ravinder Raina, while expressingsympathies with the families of the victims of tragic road accident in Keshwanarea of Kishtwar, said that it has left a big question mark on the managementof the safe and smooth traffic flow in hilly and far flung areas and a highlevel inquiry should be conducted to fix the responsibility for repeatedaccidents and loss of precious human lives in erstwhile Doda.

Ravinder Raina said that repeated accidents have beenreported in many areas of Doda, Kishtwar and other hilly areas and theadministration has not taken note, as a result there is no check on occurrenceof such fatal accidents.

Raina said that deployment of adequate traffic Police men atshort distances, regular checking of the vehicles plying in hilly areas, strongaction against over loading and over speeding vehicles, pulling out of servicethe old public transport buses and mini buses, adding more vehicles for publicuse, proper maintenance of roads, are few measures which can minimize the riskof accidents.

Ravinder Raina also stressed upon the administration to makeTrauma Hospital Ramban effectively functional with provision of adequateinfrastructure, posting required doctors and para-medical staff.

The BJP State Chief also demanded that the government shouldprovide free treatment to the injured passengers and give compensation to thefamilies of those who lost their lives in the accident.
